Description
FOR INFORMATION ONLY-AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT PROJECT "RECOVERY"- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) SCHEDULE. Recovery This is a 100% ARRA Project This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 8, Required Sources of Supplies & Services (under the GSA Schedule as a Task Order). Only those vendors eligible/listed under GSA Schedule 541 4C will receive consideration. The Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) has contracted with one of its MATOC Design-Build (D-B) contractors to build a new visitor center and office complex for the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge (including Pea Island NWR). Preliminary site and floor plans have been developed for an 18,000 square foot facility. Of the total 18,000 sq ft, approximately 1,500 sq ft is divided into exhibit space. FWS plans to award a separate contract to an Exhibit Contractor for work that entails the design, fabrication, and installation of all interior and exterior exhibitory components for the visitor center portion plus visitor orientation video production and multi-purpose/Environment Education room audio-visual enhancement. Contractor is to prepare the interpretive prospectus/exhibit plan, designs, floor plans, elevations, specifications, and associated cost estimates. All work completed under this contract must be done in cooperation with the project D-B and must be closely coordinated with the project design and construction schedules. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, supplies and perform all work required for this type work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. The Government will furnish no materials, labor, or equipment. The Job is located at the Fish & Wildlife Service (Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge), Manteo, NC (http://www.fws.gov/alligatorriver/) or (http://www.fws.gov/refuges/profiles/index.cfm?id=41630). Contractor must meet all applicable CCR and ORCA requirements as indicated within the solicitation. The work statement will be posted in eBuy and the expected solicitation issue date will be on or about December 9, 2009. A firm fixed price order will be issued. All prospective contractors are required to submit or upload their organizations representation and certifications (CCR) at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting your offer, failure to do so will render your offer non-responsive. In addition to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system, you must also register with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in order to be awarded federal contracts.
