Description

RECOVERY---THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY This procurement will be a sole source award under the 8 (a) Business Development Program. The building modernization project at the Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building and US Courthouse is an effort to make the building more energy efficient. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: replacement of existing membrane roofing, insulation, window systems, storefront systems, rooftop air handling units, and the building temperature control. This requirement also includes implementation of photo sensing type system, occupancy sensing type lighting controls, occupancy sensing HVAC controls and a general lighting system upgrade to more efficient light sources, additions of variable speed drives to the hot water pumps, automatic isolations valves and flue dampers to boilers, and reduction of over-pressurization of building interior. This procurement is being made in accordance with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). This opportunity will only be available to selected the 8 (a) contractor. This is not a request for proposal. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220, Product Supply Code (PSC) of Z111.
