- Will design and analyze a lunar habitat wall system using their ceramic compositematerial as the primary structural member. Will fabricate and strength test theirceramic composit materials to demonstrate that the ceramic composite system is a viablestructural material for lunar habitats. We will demonstrate tha the ceramic compositesystem will provide at least 20% greater radiation shielding effectiveness against GCRand SPE than an aluminum structure of comparable mass.
