- RECOVERY: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This procurement is a task/delivery order to the existing CMc Great Lakes Region-wide IDIQ contract GS05P09GBD0015. The work entails replacing the building's current perimeter heating system from steam heating to hot water heating system; replacing all windows with energy saving, non-thermally conductive, insulated glass windows, expansion & modifications to existing lighting controls, This project will also repair and replace portions of the deteriorating exterior façade. Proposed work includes stone repair, stone replacement, flashing repair, tuckpointing, and cleaning at the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse, 85 Marconi Blvd., Columbus, IL. The Lighting & Building Systems Replacement will improve the energy consumption & reduce the carbon footprint of the building. This acquisition supports the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act ARRA goals and strategy in relation to high-performance Lighting and HVAC improvements that will decrease energy consumption and cost. This opportunity is only available to the current CMc Great Lakes Region-wide IDIQ contract GS05P09GBD0015. This is not a request for quotations. It is anticipated that all Great Lakes Region-wide IDIQ CMc contractors will be given the opportunity to submit a proposal for the above stated project. These contractors are: Berglund Construction Company Clark Construction Group, LLC Mortenson Construction Pepper Construction Company Shiel Sexton This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code of 236220.
