- Single award term contract for Document Automation & Production Service, Maxwell-Gunter Annex, AL. Beginning December 1, 2009, and ending November 30, 2010, with four possible options years (if applicable). Quality Level II is required. These specifications cover the production of a perfect-bound book with a separate cover requiring such operations as electronic prepress, printing (including 4-color process), binding, packing, and distribution. FREQUENCY OF ORDERS: Approximately 4 orders per language for 6 languages, issued quarterly orders per year. QUANTITY: English - Approximately 19,000 to 25,000 copies per order, with an average of 20,700 copies; Spanish - Approximately 4,000 to 6,000 copies per order with an average of 5,000 copies; Portuguese - Approximately 2,500 to 4,000 copies per order with an average of 2,500 copies; Arabic - Approximately 2,500 to 5,000 copies per order with an average of 3,400 copies; Africa & Francophonie - Approximately 15,000 to 25,000 copies per order with an average of 17,000 copies; and Chinese - Approximately 3,500 to 5,000 copies per order with an average of 3,600 copies (NOTE: Chinese refers to "Simplified Chinese"). NUMBER OF PAGES: Approximately 96, 112, or 128 pages with a separate wraparound cover; usually 96 pages for the foreign language editions, except for the Africa & Francophonie edition, which will be approximately 192 pages each issue; and approximately 128 pages for the English version. TRIM SIZE: 7-3/8 x 9-3/4". Detailed distribution requirements will be included in the specs when they are available. Complete production and delivery is required within 19 workdays.
