- This is modification 1 to the synopsis entitled Electro Mechanical ActuatorsNNJ10100709L which was posted on October 30, 2009. You are notified that the followingquestions are being answered:1.) Question: Can you elaborate on this description by tell me 1) which spacecraftdevelopment program (Orion, etc) the need/requirement comes from?Answer: This requirement is in support of the Low Impact Docking System (LIDS) for theOrion Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV) Spacecraft Development Program.2.) Question:Which JSC organization has the responsibly for the requirement,specifically the Constellation Program Office or Engineering or another organization?Answer: The Low Impact Docking System is an Engineering Directorate project fot the OrionProject-Crew Module Office which resides within the Constellation Program.3.) Question:Can you state who the technical point of contact is for thissolicitation?Answer: This information will not be released at this time. All technical comments,questions, or suggestions shall be sent to Pete Hollis at Peter.S.Hollis@nasa.gov asstated in the Request for Information.Furthermore, at this time, no solicitation hasbeen released for this effort.The due date for responses is not extended.Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet.
