- Description
- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Siemens Government Services, Inc., 1881 Campus Commons Drive, Reston, VA 20191 to de-install and pack the Hi-path 4000 with associated casing, trade boards, circuits, wiring and computer system interface. De-install and pack (3) console positions to include casings, monitors, wiring, computer system interfaces, hand-sets and related connectivity materials which are installed in Bldg 929, and have it delivered and installed in building 1055. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Siemens is the only company capable of satisfying this requirement, as it remains sole proprietary rights to the operating system/equipment, and is solely responsible for the initial installation and yearly maintenance/service. This will be a firmed-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified services they must respond to this notice before 1300 hrs (Central Time) on 2 Sep 2009. If no responses are recieved by the above date, a sole source contract will be awarded to the Linden Research Inc. 945 Battery Street, San Francisco, CA 94111-1205.
