- SUBJECT: Notice of Web Publishing of Sources Sought Notice SP0600-10-R-0211 under Customer Organized Group (COG 8), Posts, Camps & Stations (PC&S) Program This Sources Sought Notice (SS) SP0600-10-R-0211 is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified Small Businesses [including Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), Woman-owned Small Businesses (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUB Zone) Small Businesses, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB] and Large Businesses that are interested and capable of providing for the ground fuels requirement for Defense Energy Support Center (DESC). This SS covers the ground fuels requirement for DESC customers located in the following States: Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. The total estimated quantity for COG 8 is in excess of 27 million gallons distributed over 250 line items. The products procured consist of: Motor Gasoline and Gasohol (All Grades), Ethanol-based Alternative fuel (E-85), Heating Oil, B20 Bio-Diesel Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel #1 and #2 Aviation Gasoline (AVGAS) The deadline for responding to this Source of Sought Notice is November 17, 2009.
