- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Added: Nov 10, 2009 11:15 am This is a special notice of intent to award sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12.203 and FAR Part 13.5 with consideration given to FAR Part 5.202(a)(13) as supplemented to NETSCOUT to provide following Maintenance Agreement for below for 12 month POP Period of Performance with Start/End dates to be vendor/customer agreed upon: HARDWARE MASTERCARE: -Product# SET2W0107, Sniffer Distributed 2 port WAN (RSV) & 1 port, QTY: 1 EA - Product# SET030107, Sniffer Distributed 2 port Ethernet Appliance, QTY: 1 EA SOFTWARE MASTERCARE: -Product# SET2WL, Sniffer Distributed ET2W SW License, QTY: 1 EA -Product# SET03L, Sniffer Distributed ET03 SW License, QTY: 1 EA The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334111 and the size standard for this NAICS code is 1,000 employees. These items/Maintenance Agreement will be provided to and delivered to Tulsa Air National Guard, Oklahoma (ZIP code 74115). The proposed action is for supplies/services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b). A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation for offers. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
