- Subject: RECOVERY Bureau of Land Management, National Operations Center, Contract Specialist Support.This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act, which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to competitively solicit and award one contract for Contract Specialist support at the National Operations Center (NOC), Acquisitions Branch, located at the Denver Federal Center in Denver, CO. The contractor will provide non-personal services through Contract Specialists responsible for assisting warranted Contracting Officers and other Federal Contract Specialists performing cradle-to-grave contracting actions associated with a) reviews, research and data management regarding acquisition effort; b) pre-award efforts; c) post-award administration; d) contract closeout; and e) general acquisition assistance for a variety of supply, service, IT, and/or construction contracts for the Bureau of Land Management. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business participation. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 541611 with a size standard of $7,000,000. A single award Labor Hour contract is anticipated. The anticipated Period of Performance is for a base period of 8 months from Feb 01, 2010 to Sep 30, 2010 with One (1) 12-month option period.
