- This is amendment one (1) to combined synopsis/solicitation number W9124P-10-T-0001 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W9124P-10-T-0001 is set aside 100% for small business. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement has been changed from 442110 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00 to 337214 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The AMCOM Contracting Center, US Army Contracting Command, is soliciting quotes for fifty seven (57) L-shaped modular workstations, one hundred seventeen (117) office chairs and labor to install workstations and chairs in designated areas. Quotes for new or refurbished furniture will be considered. See the attached Statement of Work for details and specifications. The solicitation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.209-2, Prohibition on Contracting with Inverted Domestic Corporations-Representation; Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial items; Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside; Clause 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party; and Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items are applicable to this acquisition. Other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. Payment will be made via Government Purchase Card. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. The combined synopsis/solicitation closing date has been extended, quotes are due no later than 4:30 PM (Local Time), 24 November 2009 in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B-142, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5000. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. In the event multiple quotes are received evaluation will be based on best value with price, delivery date, and past performance considered. Electronic quotes are preferred, but fax quotes will be accepted.
