- SPSS software product licenses were purchased by CDC through a DHHS Inter-Agency Agreement (IAA) CDC # 05FED3153 with the National Institutes of Health. This is the continuation of the maintenance that has been paid through an IAA and is now being procured directly with SPSS as there is no contractual requirement to continue maintenance and support payments through the IAA mechanism. Consequently, it is believed that SPSS, Inc. is the sole source having the capabilities which will meet the above mentioned requirements of the CDC. It is the intent of the CDC to award a contract with SPSS if this is found to be true.
