THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): MEDCOM PROGRAM SEE CONTRACTOR NAMES AND NUMBERS BELOW John J. Kirlin Special Projects, LLC, W91278-08-D-0055 or W912DY-08-D-0023; Syska Hennessy Group Construction Inc., W91278-08-D-0056 or W912DY-08-D-0021; J and J Maintenance, Inc., W91278-08-D-0057 or W912DY-08-D-0024; and Linc Government Services, LLC, W91278-08-D-0058 or W912DY-08-D-0022, under the Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization Defense-Wide: Tricare Management Activity (TMA) Program. This Recovery Act approved project, Repair Air Conditioning Components Replace W/Elec Boxes Building 04500, Fort Jackson, SC, is to demolish and replace approximately 247 Dual Duct Terminal Units (DDU) with the electronic equivalents; demolish and replace existing thermostats; run new duct back to the main branch lines; and remove pneumatic hose on existing dampers as far back to the main branch as possible. Contractor shall also install control boards on each floor inside automatic temperature control (ATC) panel box; run wire to connect DDU with controllers and tie into existing system; and shall follow the specified guidelines for the upgrade of the DDUs for this project.
