- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for the acquisition of Clinical Laboratory Testing Services at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), Road 165 & Road 28, Catano, Puerto Rico 00962-5700. The contract period shall consist of a base period from Date of Award through 12 months from Date of Award and four (4) one (1) year option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and licensed facilities required to provide clinical laboratory testing services. The contractor shall transport, process, test, monitor, and report test results on specimens submitted by MDC Guaynabo. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option is 1443 tests per performance period. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 621511. This solicitation will be available on or about December 11, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 20, 2010.
