Description
Amendment 01 to RFQ PC-10-Q-RM01 1. A site visit is scheduled for 4 December 2009 at 1:00 pm local Washington D.C. time. Vendors interested in the site visit should contact Mr. Theodore Leach at 202-692-1329 or tleach@peacecorps.gov. No other dates and/or times are available for the site visit. 2. Clauses 52.237-1 and 52.237-2 are hereby incorporated into the RFQ. 52.237-1 Site Visit. (Apr 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. (End of provision) 52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation. (Apr 1984) The Contractor shall use reasonable care to avoid damaging existing buildings, equipment, and vegetation on the Government installation. If the Contractor’s failure to use reasonable care causes damage to any of this property, the Contractor shall replace or repair the damage at no expense to the Government as the Contracting Officer directs. If the Contractor fails or refuses to make such repair or replacement, the Contractor shall be liable for the cost, which may be deducted from the contract price. (End of clause) 3. The deadline for questions is hereby extended 12:00 pm local Washington D.C. time on 7 December 2009. 4. The response due date is unchanged at 3:00 pm local Washington D.C. time on 9 December 2009. All quotes shall be submitted to rmoore@peacecorps.gov. Late quotes may not be accepted, based upon the discretion of the Contracting Officer. 5. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
