- Description
- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be placed for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available on or about “16 December 09” at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one 1/G drawing item. This signifies that the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This NSN requires Government Source Inspection with a contractor first article testing requirement. The following sources are waived from any first article testing requirement: 1BH65 – REMCON/FAT75003MA463, 1PBG9 – TOTAL INDUSTRIAL & PACK is waived as long as they provide REMCON, CAGE 1BH65, 51051 – TUBE PRODUCTS. This solicitation will incorporate all clauses pertaining to the first article testing requirements into subject solicitation. The drawings for this NSN on this solicitation may be subject to export-control regulations and distribution will only be given to those contractors qualified to received restricted drawings as listed in the Joint Certification Program. If a contractor is not on this list, they may apply by filling out a DD Form 2345 entitled “Military Critical Technical Data Agreement”, located at Http://WWW.DLIS.DLA.MIL/JCP, or by writing to: United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, Defense Logistics Information Service, Federal Center, 74 Washington Avenue, North Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084. Award is also contingent upon meeting the CCAL requirements. To apply for a certification, complete DD Form 2345. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% Serviced Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside with full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
