Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This Market Survey will provide information to determine if there are adequate Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses for the following proposed work. The Department of Veteran Affairs is interested in awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price construction contract for Cardio Cath-Hemo Renovation project 693-07-109 at the Wilkes Barre VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre PA. Award is anticipated in late January 2010. Contract duration is approximately one (1) year and there are no options. Magnitude of this project is between $2M and $5M. Performance and Payment bonds will be required. NAICS for this project is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million. A draft Statement of Work is available and attached to this notice for reference. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their experience in the following disciplines: Site Work, Concrete, Masonry, Metals, Wood & Plastic, Thermal & Moisture Protection, Finishes, Specialties, Equipment, Furnishing, Special Construction, Conveying Systems, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Demolition. Capability statements should include size/classification of your firm, bonding capacity (single project and aggregate), details of similar projects, completion dates, references and contract amount. Narratives shall be no longer than FIVE (5) pages. Responses should be sent to Dianne Smith at Dianne.Smith2@va.gov to reach this office by COB December 9, 2009.
