- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE STECK PARK BOAT DOCKS AND GANGWAY. This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) intends to issue a single, firm fixed-price contract to Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, materials, and incidentals required to design and construct two (2) prefabricated floating boat dock structures for the Steck Park Recreation Site. Both docks shall be constructed with a galvanized steel truss frame system atop a series of one-piece, high molecular weight polyethylene, UV stable floats. Truss frames shall be constructed in ten-foot lengths capable of being connected together to create variable overall dock lengths. The docks shall each be seven (7) feet wide so as to set between existing steel pylons. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238990 with a standard size of $14.0M. The project site is located at the Steck Park Recreation Site on Brownlee Reservoir in southwest Idaho. This announcement serves as the advanced notice for the project. For amendments and updates, register or update the registration at the FedConnect website at http://www.fedconnect.net. Estimated issue date is December 11, 2009. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public.
