Description
RECOVERY -- This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Land Management, Fairbanks District Office has a requirement to ship approximately 30,000 Lbs. of bulky freight by air from Anchorage to Kotzebue. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Kotzebue, Alaska. Detailed information, including specifications, will be included in the solicitation package. The solicitation will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov or at https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect/ on or about December 08, 2009. Offers will be due December 15, 2009. This procurement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation is subject to the provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 481212, size standard 1,500. Offerors must have a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and register at www.ccr.gov (Central Contractor Registration) to be eligible for award of any federal contact. Additionally, it is recommended for interested parties to register at www.orca.bpn.gov (Online Representations and Certifications Application). Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by resultant contract award(s) may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guaranteed notification.
