- The United States Secret Service anticipates issuing a competitive solicitation HSSS01-10-R-0003 on or about 16 December 2009 for a firm fixed priced contract for re-paving of the Protective Operations Driving Course (PODC) and access roads at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD. This potential acquisition of services is 100% set-aside for HUBZone. In order to qualify for this program, an offeror must be a certified HUBZone prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310. The size standard is $33.5 million. Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and all related documents will only be available by downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies will be made available. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. It is the Offerors' responsibility to read, understand, and follow the instructions per the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. All documents required for submission of quote must be sent to Kimberly Spangler via email to Kimberly.Spangler@usss.dhs.gov. Hard copy or faxed proposals shall not be accepted. Since this is a competitive requirement, do not telephone with questions, email them. If you do not receive a confirmation response then your question was not received. Communications with other officials may compromise the competitiveness of this acquisition and result in cancellation of the requirement.
