Description
Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract increase modification under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, Subpart 6.302-1 (only one source). The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Directorate Of Contracting at Fort Riley, KS intends to modify a contract with Gracon Corporation, 7221 E US Hwy 34, Loveland, CO 80537-8956, on a sole source basis for an $12.5M increase in the maximum ceiling price of an existing ID/IQ Job Order Contract (JOC, see Army Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (AFARS) at part 5117.90) at Fort Riley, KS. Item: Fulfill requirements for sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) projects at installation level (post, camp or station). Perform construction work for infrastructure repairs/upgrades and renovation at Fort Riley, KS. The Government has determined Gracon Corporation to be uniquely qualified to not incur unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements due to it having established local employee, subcontractor, and material supply chains, is fully mobilized/on-site, and having reached the full performance position. Any response to this notice must show and provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the Governments needs no later than the 15th day after this notice is posted. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to DOC Fort Riley, attn: JOC-07-Gary Parker; 1792 12th Street, Camp Funston; Fort Riley, KS 66442 (electronically preferred to gary.r.parker@us.army.mil). This synopsis is not to be considered a request for bid/quote/proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for technical information will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. No contract will be awarded on a basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government.
