Description

Synopsis:Dated: December 7, 2009 NOTICE OF INTENT TO USE OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION IN THE AREA OF PAOLA, KANSAS. AMOUNT: Approximately 3,950 RSF yielding 4,000 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of primary care clinic and related space, located in existing space. LOCATION: The Government currently occupies 3,932 BOMA Office Area square feet located at 501 South Hospital Drive in Paola, Kansas under a lease that is soon to expire. The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to negotiate a succeeding lease at this location based on economic, mission, and other factors. The Government will relocate only if consideration of economic and other factors are supported advantageous, including relocation and tenant improvement costs. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy NO LATER THAN February 1, 2010. TERM: Lease term will be for ten years with the Government having termination rights after five years by giving 180 days written notice to the lessor at anytime on or after the fifth year.
