Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is soliciting 60 LSG (Low Frequency) Compensators for the MK 30 MOD 1 Target Program and an option for 60 additional LSG Compensators. Two (2) First Articles will be required. The Solicitation number for this requirement when issued will be N00253-10-R-0006. Drawings and technical information referenced in this Solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are only available by accessing (FedBizOpps). Registration instructions and Vendor Guide book can be found on the FedBizOpps homepage. Drawings for this solicitation will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: https://www.fbo.gov under solicitation number: N0025310R0006.FOB Destination. Inspection will be at source and Acceptance at Destination. Suppliers must be on an approved supplier list prior to award. This solicitation will be procured under full and open competition in accordance with FAR Part 15. Award will be based on best value. Best value is determined by the tradeoff of price and other factors as set forth in the solicitation. The procurement is a 100% small business set aside. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332911 with a size standard of 500 employees. In it anticipated that the solicitation will be issued December 23, 2009. The closing date of the solicitation will be January 25, 2010, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link http://www.neco.navy.mil/. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading the Request for Proposal (RFP) from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database http://www.ccr.gov. Any questions should be submitted in writing.
