This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) Solicitation F8V3CE9322A002 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. (IV) This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 333611, standard industrial classification 3511: Steam, Gas, and Hydraulic Turbines, and Turbine Generator Set Units, small business size 1,000 employees. COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION: The 121 Air Refueling Wing Ohio Air National Guard has requirement for the following: CLIN (0001) Furnish all parts, labor, materials, equipment and supplies and perform all work in accordance with the work scope for the project. : The contractor shall provide and install 4 (four) Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (700 w 1.4 kW ea) on Bldg 887 located at Rickenbacker ANG, Columbus, OH. All inverters, Grid Tie Controllers, utility connections, lightning arrestors, meters, and towers/foundations will need to be included to make a complete and usable system at Rickenbacker ANG, Columbus, OH. The Contractor shall review data for each turbine, each month for a total of 12 months and submit that data to the engineering office. Contractor shall prepare documents needed for submission to our Electrical Utility (South Central Power) for approval of this installation. This system shall be directly tied into the electrical system and meet all South Central Powers requirements. If systems or structure will penetrate the roofing membrane, the contractor shall ensure that the roof is repaired such that it is water tight and will be a part of the one year general construction warranty. THE SITE SURVEY HELD ON DECEMBER 15, 2009 AT 10:00AM; Drawings will be available at the site survey.
