Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), Pathology/Laboratory Medicine Service Department has a requirement for a MVE 1536P-190F-GB-BB Vapor Freezer and a Oxygen Sensor. The Equipment must meet the following specifications: MVE Model 1536P-190F-GB-BB Vapor Freezer "Capacity of 608 Fenwal 4R9955 blood bags, "Pie shaped rotating interior tray "Must maintain -190 deg C in vapor storage for 21 days without a fill cycle "Two temperature sensors, platinum RTD "One fill all capability (sequential or simultaneous) "Must be able to interface multiple 1536P with a host computer "Installation and 2 hour training by factory authorized representative "Provide copy of IQ/OQ documentation at time of training "756 Liter capacity "Capacity for 36,400 vials (2.0 ml - internal threaded) "24 day safety zone "Full automatic control "Battery backup "Gas bypass "Includes 3-probe assembly "42" outside diameter "54.9" overall height "28.8" internal usable height "Power requirements: 120V, 60Hz., 5 Amps "Weight empty: 690 lbs "Warranty: 2 years parts/labor, 5 years vacuum 4100 Series Single Point Oxygen Monitoring System with one ZD-21 Oxygen Transmitter. "5 year sensor life as well as it increases the operational safety and accuracy. "ZD 21 responds to low oxygen levels in less than 2 seconds. "Series System includes a 12" H x 12" W x 3.5" D key-lock enclosure with a window in the door for oxygen percentage display. "24 VDC power supply. "Case mounted horn and strobe assembly. "AC Switch Receptacle. "GMA41 B one channel controller. The controller is DIN- rail mounted, has three programmable alarm points with delay times, four relay outputs, a three digit display, and five LED's providing functional status. "The ZD-21 transmitter is an oxygen transmitter with a detection range of 0-25 vol % using non-depleting zirconia with an expected lifetime of five years. "Outside influences from pressure, temperature, and humidity have no affect on its response time. "This sensor has a response time of less than two seconds, signal output of 4 to 20 mA, and is housed in an aluminum casing with dimensions of 4" W x 4" H x 2.2" D. "The horn/strobe is an audible/visual signaling device activated when the oxygen level decreases to 19%. This horn provides 83dbA at ten feet and the strobe provides an output of 50 cd on-axis. This horn/strobe assembly has outside dimensions of 4 9/16" W x 4 1/2" H x 2 1/4" D and is flush mounted into the door of the monitoring system. "4100 Series Power Requirements: 120 V, 60 Hz, 0.5 Amps. "Warranty: 2 years parts/labor. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) (2), STVHCS intends to award sole source to Scientific Resources Southwest, Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at a no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
