- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: W912JB-10-T-4004 Notice Type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number assigned for this procurement will be: W912JB-10-T-4004. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation and subsequent contract will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE 100% for small business participation. The associated NAICS code is 424690 and small business size standard is 100. SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES: 0001: 600 tons of road salt bulk to be delivered in separate 50-100 ton increments to Selfridge ANGB. Deliveries to be scheduled as needed between December 2009 and April of 2010. Bulk salt shall have the following additives : Blue Prussian(Ferric Ferrocyanide). 0002(option): 600 tons(Not to exceed) of road salt bulk to be delivered in separate 50-100 ton increments to Selfridge ANGB. Deliveries to be scheduled as needed between December 2009 and April of 2010. Bulk salt shall have the following additives : Yellow Prussiate of Soda(Sodium). (b) The permissible variation shall be limited to: 05 Percent increase 05 Percent decrease This increase or decrease shall apply to ALL LINE ITEMS. Partial Payments: Partial Payments are not authorized for contracts with a value of less than $5000. For Contracts greater than $5000 partial payments for less than 2500 are not authorized. Wide Area Work Flow : Wide Area Work Flow is a web based tool for the processing of invoices/receiving reports. The use of this system for the processing of invoices and receiving reports is mandatory. THIS REQUEST IS SOLICITED AS ADVERTISE ONLY. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. The Government's obligation under this requirement is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which contract award can be made. There are no numbered notes applicable to this solicitation. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal Contract. For information regarding registration in CCR, go to the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. All responsible vendors may submit a quote no later than 16 Dec. 2009 at 2:00pm local time to 127 MSC, ATTN: Steven Stocking, 43200 Maple St, Bldg 105, Selfridge ANG Base, and MI 48045. NOTE: Due to time constraints, LATE QUOTES will NOT be considered. Quotes may be submitted via email to steven.stocking@ang.af.mil. Telephone quotes will not be honored. Award will be based on lowest price from a responsible vendor. Quotes are to remain effective for 10 days after close of solicitation.
