Description
SF-30 - Amendment #1 Amendment 1 - This amendment to the solicitation is to clarify and include those items addressed at the pre-bid meeting and are hereby included into this solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged ========================================================= - Clarification - exposer on all shakes shall be 7.5" as stated in the specifications. - All flashing shall be as specified in section 076200 sheet metal flashing and trim - Part 2 Products - Lead Coated Copper Sheet - ASTM B101, Class A - 20 oz. - Delete all reference to ice & water shield or membrane and ventilated mesh material underlayment from the specifications and drawings within this contract. - No masonry will be required on this contract with the exception of tie backing of the flashing against the chimney, see detail sheet 7 of 7 of this contract. - All chinking is to be removed from the Schencks Office (inside and out) and replaced after building sills have been removed and replaced. - Delete typical detail C2/A5.1 and A3/A5.1 from sheet 7 of 7 from the drawings, this details are no longer applicable to this contract. - Clarification - due to the varying wood species on the Commissary porch sills to be replaced the wood to be used as a replacement shall be rough sawn white oak. Also the note on page 5 of 7 states to replace the 2x12 sill. This should be changed to state "Replace existing 2x12, 2 x 6 and 1x4 trim boards on all three sides of the porch. - Several questions came up regarding the availability of the type shakes specified - the following is a suggested supplier for such product: Kolb Contracting LLC,16545 Forest Pine Wildwood, MO 63011-1875 636-458-5970 - Cedar Shakes for this project shall be graded by the Cedar Shake and Shingle Bureau.¿ www.cedarbureau.org - At this time lab results regarding the chinking mixture on the Schenck's Office can not be provided. *** All other terms and conditions remain unchanged ***
