Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to YSI Corp in Yellow Springs, Ohio; to provide time and material repair services for YSI Water Quality Equipment, to be delivered to the Stennis Space Center, MS by 12/16/2009. The term of this requirement will have one base year and four option-year periods. YSI Corp is the only known source for this requirement. YSI Corp is the proprietary manufacturer of the equipment and they possess the technical knowledge and patents covering the intricate designs of the instruments and any accessory items associated with that instrument. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: toallen@usgs.gov The NAICS code is 334513.
