Description
Task order 1 solicitation under BOA 10XS070. Award of this task order is contingent on successful award of BOA 10XS070. Basic ordering agreement solicitation 10XS070 for the prequalification of Cancer Centers as Centers of Quantitative Imgaging Excellence. This solicitation is for the Basic Ordering Agreement and Task Order 1 for the prequalifiaction of Cancer Centers as Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence. Only one award will be made to the successful offeror that meets the requirements of both the basic ordering agreement and task order 1. The tasks of this BOA will be focused on the qualification of select Cancer Centers to serve as centers of excellence capable of conducting quantitative imaging across three modalities: PET, PET/CT, volumetric CT (vCT) or volumetric MR (vMR), and DCE-MRI for both brain and body imaging in both static and dynamic mode. This includes, but is not limited to, the development of site qualification standards for multi-center imaging trials; development of data transfer and management; and the implementation of the qualification process at CC's throughout the nation. Specifically, the subcontractor will develop and implement a qualification process that will be guided by the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the following process areas and modalities: 1) vCT or vMR 2) PET and PET/CT 3) DCE MRI [Note: The proceeding methodologies should be qualified for both brain and body in both static and dynamic mode for three imaging device manufacturers -General Electric (GE), Siemens, and Phillips] Three separate task orders are anticipated under this BOA: 1. Establishment of a guideline and SOPs for the qualification of a Cancer Center as a Center of Quantitative Imaging Excellence and implementation the qualification requirements to qualify one site in all modalities in both body and brain. 2. Qualification of 25 Cancer Center sites as Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence. 3. Qualification of an additional 25 Cancer Center sites as Centers of Quantitative Imaging Excellence.
