- Description
- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC’s), 6432 General Green Way, Alexandria, VA 22312-2413 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Commuter Check Services Corporation, 51 Water Street FL 2, Watertown, MA 02472 under FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement, for annual commercial transportation check vouchers plus processing fees. This requirement is for the SEC Boston Regional Office located at 33 Arch Street, 23rd Floor, Boston, MA 02110-1424. This contract will be for the duration of one (1) base year and four (4) option years not to exceed $450,000. Each base and option year is 12 months in duration. The Government believes that this is the only source capable of meeting the Government's requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; a solicitation package is not available. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government and must be received by the Contracting Officer, in writing, no later than Dec. 14, 2009 at 1 pm. Responses may be e-mailed to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Aviles-Wynkoop at Aviles-WynkoopE@sec.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion and authority of the Government. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the Government.
