Description
Sources Sought Notice This notice is for informational purposes only. The NPS has a requirement for the following project. If you are interested, please review the information below and monitor GSA's E-buy website and Fed Biz Opps (see website information below) for specific opportunities. Subject: Contracting Efforts Begin to Assist National Museum of the American Latino Commission in developing Report to Congress. Congress and the President appointed the 23-member Commission to study the potential of a national museum in Washington, D.C. dedicated to the history, culture, and contributions of the Latino community in the United States. Over the next several months the commission will be working with National Park Service staff and contractors to complete a plan for a national museum that will illuminate the American story for the benefit of all. The National Park Service is assisting the Commission in contractor selection and contract administration. Proposals will be solicited in the areas of public communications, potential museum sites assessment, fundraising plan development, organizational structure analysis, and a potential collections and programs review and analysis. All elements of work contracted out will be incorporated into the final report to congress. A Request for Quotes (RFQ) for PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGY was issued on General Services Administration's (GSA) e-Buy internet site on December 8, 2009. Proposals for that solicitation process are due December 22. Please go to "www.ebuy.gsa.gov" to download the RFQ (#427433) and scope, and to submit your proposal. If you are interested in any of the other work elements please monitor the GSA e-buy internet site and FedbizOpps (www.fbo.gov). All associated RFQ's will be posted on those sites. For additional information on contracting efforts please contact LaDonna Collins (LaDonna_Collins@NPS.gov) or Carol Watkins (Carol_Watkins@NPS.gov
