- PROJECT NUMBER RM09-1363, INSTALL PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS, KAUAI, HI PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER 8(a) MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (MACC), HAWAII; American Piping and Boiler Co. (N62478-07-D-4003); RMA Land Construction (N62478-07-D-4004); Niking Corporation (N62478-07-D-4005); Standard Sheetmetal & Mechanical, Inc. dba Standard Construction (N62478-07-D-4006); Su-mo/Nan JV (N62478-07-D-4007) Summary of Project Scope: This project will consist of design-build of grid-tied building integrated photovoltaic power systems on the roof top of Buildings 328, 337, 338, 355, 359, 384, 801, 1260, 1261, and 1264, Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii. The design life of the system shall be at least 20 years in corrosive environment. The PV power systems shall produce aggregated energy output of 1.0 GWh during the first full year of operation and shall produce aggregated annual output equal to and at least 80% of the first year target for the remainder of its twenty-year life. It is anticipated that the aggregated system will contain PV panels/modules with output capacity of at least 787.8 KWP DC based on Standard Test Condition (STC) and will provide at least 590 KW AC of continuous power during peak daylight hours peculiar to the CRNH locations. The output from each of the PV power systems shall be designed to be the same AC voltage, waveform, and frequency as, and will be distributed via isolation transformer to, the nearest facility grid power panel. The PV power systems shall meet all current NEC and UL requirements, and designed in accordance with the current Naval Facilities Engineering Command Hawaii (NAVFAC-HI) Public Works Utilities Criteria. Completion of all construction shall occur within 545 calendar days after NOTICE TO PROCEED
