Description

THE BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS IS PLANNING A FIRM, FIXED-PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT. THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) IS UNRESTRICTED AND IS SOLICITED ON AN OPEN MARKET BASIS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION, SUPERVISION AND INCIDENTALS NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE FOLLOWING ELECTRIC SUPPLY SUBSTATIONS: ARIZOLA, BLACKWATER, EAST COOLIDGE, MAMMOTH 1, MAMMOTH 2 & PIMA CHANDLER. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE WORK, THE CONTRACTOR MUST BE CERTIFIED TO PERFORM WORK IN HIGH VOLTAGE SUPPLY STATIONS. ALL WORK MUST BE COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATION AND DESIGN DRAWINGS FOR SAN CARLOS IRRIGATION PROJECT (SCIP), COOLIDGE, ARIZONA. ESITMATED PRICE RANGE IS BETWEEN $500,000 AND $1,000,000. BIDDERS ARE STRONGLY URGED TO CONDuCT AN ON-SITE VISIT. All interested firms shall submit a written request for RFP package to Bureau of Indian Affairs, Division of Acquisition, Attention: Renee Holly, 2600 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004 or fax your request to the Attention of Renee Holly (602) 379-6763. Telephone requests to obtain the solicitation package will NOT be accepted. Technical inquiries shall be submitted in writing on or before January 11, 2010. A Bid Bond of 20 percent of the bid price is required; and upon award 100 percent Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Liability Insurance are required. Request for Proposal (RFP) due date is January 14, 2010. Faxed RFPs will not be accepted. RFP packages shall be submitted to BIA, Western Region, Division of Acquisition, Attention: Renee Holly, 2600 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Renee Holly, NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
