Description
Pricing Section 3 - SOW Solicitation The Digital Imaging Network - Picture Archiving and Communications System (DIN-PACS) is an open system network of digital devices designed for the effective acquisition, transmission, display, and management of diagnostic imaging studies. DIN-PACS provides for diagnostic x-ray images in digital output that can be transmitted for analysis anywhere in the hospital or in the world. DIN-PACS support the business process changes throughout the Military Health System (MHS) and, especially, within the practice of military radiology. The vision for radiology is to create a "virtual" radiology department by eliminating multiple "place" constraints that arise both within and between diagnostic centers. Within facilities the DIN-PACS system is intended to eliminate the necessity of creating film and allow access to images by multiple users at any place and anytime. Between facilities, the system is intended to create opportunities to dynamically shift workload at anytime and to any location where clinical expertise is available. DIN-PACS includes: 01A. DIN-PACS Systems and Components 01B. System Options and Accessories 01C. Upgrades 01D. Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) 01E. Training 01F. Maintenance Service 01G. Turnkey Installation* *Turnkey Installation is defined as the procurement, site planning, site preparation and complete installation of medical systems at military and federal healthcare institutions world-wide through the management of contractual relationships with a single prime contractor. Ordering Offices: Defense Supply Center Philadelphia Veterans Administration National Acquisition Center Customers: All federally funded DoD and non-DOD facilities.
