- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): JAMCO Ventures, LLC. The Contract Specialist for this action is Carol A. Conaway at 817-338-8644; or by e-mail at carol.a.conaway@usace.army.mil This contract action will be accomplished using Other Than Full and Open Competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-5(b)(4), Sole source awards under the 8(a) Program15 U.S.C. 637 and the Partnership Agreement dated 28 February 2007 between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Defense (DoD). The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, transportation, equipment, and materials necessary to provide taxiway and runway repairs at Fort Hood, Texas. The intent of the project is to provide pavement maintenance and repairs to comply with aviation safety inspections including IMCOM Quality Assurance Evaluations. Work includes, and not limited to, remove vegetation, apply herbicide and clean and reseal cracks on the two 50 feet wide outer edges of the 9,000 ft. long runway at Robert Gray Army Airfield (RGAAF), Repair and restriping of pavement on Taxiway Alpha, RGAAF. Cracks are to be cleaned and resealed and a bituminous sealer applied to the entire taxiway area, Repair and restriping of pavement on Taxiway Charlie (West), RGAAF. Cracks are to be cleaned and resealed and a bituminous sealer applied to the entire taxiway area, Repair and restriping of pavement on Taxiway Echo (West), RGAAF. Cracks are to be cleaned and resealed and a bituminous sealer applied to the entire taxiway area, Construct 25 ft. wide asphaltic concrete shoulders the length of Taxiway Alpha, RGAAF, Construct 25 ft. wide asphaltic concrete shoulders the length of Taxiway Charlie (West), RGAAF, Construct 25 ft. wide asphaltic concrete shoulders the length of Taxiway Echo (West), RGAAF, Striping removal, repair and restriping of the South Ramp and adjacent areas IAW UFC 3-260-05, Remove vegetation, dirt and debris from existing cracks; clean, apply herbicide and reseal cracks equivalent to approximately 70,000 linear feet on the Northeast Ramp of RGAAF, and Trim and remove areas of vegetation in the vicinity of the Airfield Approach Lighting at RGAAF. The area to be trimmed extends 200 feet to each side of the extended centerline of the runway and 200 feet past the first row of approach lighting. POINT OF CONTACT: Carol A.
