Description
Subj: Request for Information (RFI) Synopsis for Services for the All Faiths Religious Education Program for Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico, VA Purpose:The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research which will be used formulate an acquisition strategy to support services for a the All Faiths Religious Education Program for Marine Corps Base (MCB), Quantico, VA. The Regional Contracting Office, National Capital Region (RCO-NCR) is requesting responses from qualified businesses. The qualifying code for this effort is 813110. The Command Chaplain, MCB, Quantico, VA is responsible for all matters of religion on MCB, Quantico, and seeks to contract for services to provide support to the Religious Education Program. Objectives for this support include, but are not limited to: (1) Assist in implementation of the proposed academic year religious education programs in support of the Roman Catholic, Protestant, and other chapel pastors, providing age appropriate curriculum, modify existing programs, and volunteer requirements for religious education requirements; (2) Recruit volunteers to teach classes; (3) Provide teacher training & orientation sessions; (4) Conduct preparatory meetings with parents & children; (5) Assist Chapel Pastors in promoting various programs and events; and (6) Provide administrative support, as required. Responses to this RFI shall not exceed ten (10) pages, including cover letter and contact information. Subject response must contain: (1) capability statement sufficient to demonstrate performance acumen directly related to the objectives of the Command Chaplain; (2) Link to the respondent's GSA MOBIS schedule, or attached file of same; (3) Citation of any current or past customers (i.e., within the past two (2) years) to include contract number, point of contact telephone number or e-mail address; and (5) other material relevant to establishing core competencies of the firm. Response is due by close of business 6 January 2010. Please submit e-mail responses to Wanda S. Wichmann at e-mail address wanda.wichmann@usmc.mil. NOTE: Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these services or to issue a solicitation. No solicitation documents exist at this time; however, in the event the acquisition strategy demonstrates that GSA is a viable option for procuring a solution, only those firms responding to this RFI and considered most capable may be issued the resulting RFQ. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information the Contractor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
