MARKET SURVEY Reference FAR Part 10.001 Market Research- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): 1 CONS/LGCA 74 Nealy Ave, Langley AFB, VA This market survey is to locate sources to provide Software Support Services to identify the available contractor for procurement of a continued provision for upgrades and bug fixes for the Insight Recognition Training System presently in place at the United States Air Force Air Combat Command. The requirement is to Access Senior Product Support Engineers with unlimited support incidents to include e-mail, telephone and fax support, with a 1 day response time. Changes to keep up to date with new revisions of underlying technologies and third party products, such as Microsoft Windows, ensuring the product is available for use with the latest operating systems and platforms. Provide advice on the documented features of Insight Recognition Training System and on how to troubleshoot unexpected behavior encountered while using these features. Annual liaison visit and annual software upgrade. Current Period of Performance expires on 10 January 2010. Extended Period of Performance for insight software to cover January 2010 to January 2011. This is an RFI only and may or may not result in the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) or additional RFIs containing more detailed requirements. All responses are due no later than 10 days after the date of this announcement. Responses to this RFI should include, and state when available: a. a detailed description of product with information on how the product meets the specified requirements. When addressing the ability to meet requirements, please substantiate with data. b. rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimates and unit price c. the respondent will identify whether a small or large business and, if a small business concern, whether a small business; veteran-owned small business; service-disabled, veteran-owned small business; HUBZone small business; small disadvantaged business and/or women-owned small business. Refer to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19 Socioeconomic Programs. d. any government or commercial contracts against which similar services have been delivered within the last five years that meet some or all of the requirements. e. anticipated claims to software data rights required to deliver the product described. RFI Format: When preparing responses to this RFI, the submission should be limited to five (5) pages, including pictures. Do not include company marketing material, corporate profiles, personnel resumes, or duplicate material from a corporate website. If the latter information is indeed pertinent to the RFI, then include a document reference sheet with your response. Please submit responses electronically in pdf or standard commercial format to the Point of Contact at the bottom of this announcement. If proprietary information is submitted, it should be marked accordingly. While responses are encouraged, failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future associated RFP that may be issued. Information provided herein is subject to change.
