Description

RECOVERY: Temporary Senior Contract Specialists to Perform Acquisitions of ARRA-Funded Requirements for USDA Rural Development. AG-31ME-S-10-0007. “THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER GSA SCHEDULE 736-5” Rural Development (RD) is issuing a competitive RFQ from GSA Schedule 736-5 entitled Temporary and Administrative Professional Staffing (TAPS) contract holders for the purpose of entering into a Task Order under the successful firm’s Schedule Contract. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain the services of senior contract specialists to assist USDA Rural Development in the acquisition process of ARRA-funded requirements. The selected contractor will provide senior contract specialists support services to perform all pre-award and post-award elements of the acquisition process (e.g. acquisition planning, contract award, contract administration, and contract closeout). DAWIA Certification and/or FAC-C Certification, experience with MS Applications/Word Processing, Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation (FPDS-NG), and Integrated Access System-PRISM is preferred. Interested GSA Schedule 736-5 contract holders should submit a minimum of three resumes of senior contract specialists by the Response Date listed in this Notice. The Periods of Performance for this Task Order are: Base Period – January 4, 2010 through September 29, 2010; and Option Period I – September 30, 2010 though September 29, 2011. The awarded contract will be funded in whole under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The awardee shall comply with the reporting requirements mandated by FAR Subpart 4.15 and FAR clause 52.204-11, American Recovery and reinvestment Act- Reporting Requirements. By reference, FAR Clause 52.204-11, American Recovery and reinvestment Act-reporting requirements, is incorporated in its entirety into this RFQ.
