This opportunity is available only to contractors under the General Services Administration (GSA) Advertising and Integrated Marketing Solutions (AIMS) Schedule under Special Item Number (SIN) 541-5 Integrated Marketing Services. This project is to support the National Prevention Media Initiative, which will include a coordinated, community-linked paid mass media campaign; ongoing outreach to the news media; and targeted media interventions-including minority-focused, Web-based, and social-media communications-to reach, engage, and influence priority and vulnerable populations. Media messages and organizational activities will be aimed at promoting policy, environmental, and behavior changes to increase physical activity, improve nutrition, decrease overweight/obesity prevalence, decrease tobacco use, and decrease exposure to secondhand smoke. The successful contractor shall develop a comprehensive community and partner-based communication and marketing plan to deliver actionable disease prevention and health promotion information, messages, and interventions to the identified audience segments. The plan shall reflect the appropriate use of marketing and communication strategies to reach the target audiences. The plan shall also be consistent with the overall goals, objectives, and action plans of the participating ARRA state and community projects. This is not a request for competitive proposals, nor is a solicitation available. The statement of work will be issued to selected vendors in accordance with FAR 8.405 ordering procedures. Period of Performance: Thirty (30) months from date of award. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing to Maryann Schlemmer at aaq8@cdc.gov
