Description
Attachment - SADC report Attachment - Population Statistics RFP Attachment -next generation reference guide RFP Attachment - 18 districts report RFP674-09-71 RFP674-09-71 The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Southern Africa/Office of Acquisition and Assistance, intends to award a four-year contract, with an additional one-year option, to develop and implement a program to support the South African Government to implement evidence-based sexual HIV prevention programs through technical assistance to national and select provinces and district structures. Technical assistance services are specifically intended to strengthen South African capacity and delivery of services to reduce HIV incidence in selected high-prevalence districts in South Africa. This will be achieved through technical support to the South African Government (SAG) at the national and selected provincial and district levels. The support aims to help the SAG achieve adequate coverage of key interventions that address the sources of new infections at a scale and scope likely to reduce sexual HIV transmission. This will require multi-level reinforcing programmatic efforts and the effective implementation of an appropriate combination of interventions that address the key drivers of the epidemic in high-incidence areas with populations at risk. You are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the requirements of the eenclosed RFP No. 674-09-71.
