Description

Jane's Online Reference Database The 15th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source contract to Jane's Information Group for the purchase of access to a one of a kind on-line database library. The purchase includes Jane's Defense Equipment and Technology Database; Jane's Military and Security Assessment Database; Jane's Defense Industry and Markets; Jane's Transport Library-web; and Jane's Terrorism and Insurgency Center-web. It is the belief of the 15th Contracting Squadron that Jane's Information Group is the only publisher and distributor for the defense/security related information that can meet our needs. There are no other resellers or distributors that can meet the prices provided by Jane's. The period of performance will be for twelve months and begin January 26, 2010. Interested sources that have the capability to perform the services may contact me at (808) 448-2944 or via email at jean.williams@hickam.af.mil. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. HST on December 18, 2009. The Government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. This action is under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other will satisfy agency requirements.
