Description
This is a conformed copy of the solicitation that includes Amendments 0001 and 0002, so that the changes to the the CLIN and SubCLIN numbering is clear. Modification to add questions and answers and extend the solicitation due date to Jan 19, 2010. Offerors may e-mail written questions requesting clarification of the RFP to the Government via the Contract Specialist, Laura Patterson at laura.patterson@navsoc.socom.mil. The Government will answer questions received up to January 08, 2010 at 1200 hrs PST; questions received after this date may not be answered. The Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-10-R-0008 for the anticipated award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract to provide contracted instruction to support a full training curriculum to provide critical combat skills including but not limited to: prisoner control techniques and marshaling procedures, individual armed close quarter skills, and force control exercises in a full contact, full speed environment. This requirement includes the course development and advancement (to include generating course guides and related materials) as well as preparing NSW Instructor Staff to instruct NSW personnel. The estimated period of performance is 1 base year with 4 one-year options, totaling 5 years (if options are exercised), start date is estimated to be 02 MAR 2010. The solicitation will be a small business set-aside, anticipated to result in the award of a single contract. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611699 with a size standard of $7.0M. A Bidders or Offerors Mailing List will NOT be established and hard copies of documents will not be provided. The solicitation is only be available electronically on the FedBizOpps.gov web site. Any amendments, when issued, will also be available only on this web site. Matters posted on the web site are not terms of the solicitation unless the solicitation is written or amended to include such matters. FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THE WEB SITE REGULARLY FOR UPDATED INFORMATION. PROPOSAL DUE DATE IS EXTENDED TO 19 JAN 2010, no extension of that date is anticipated.
