- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS/IMF), Bremerton, WA is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Peerless Manufacturing Company or one of its qualified distributors. The solicitation is for fourteen (14) each Moisture Separators as replacement parts. Peerless Manufacturing Company is the only manufacturer that meets the government's specifications with proprietary OEM drawings. The separators must be procured from the subject contractor. Place of delivery is PSNS/IMF Bremerton, WA. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 17 November 2009 with a closing date of 24 November 2009. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
