- This is a request for information in order to receive industry feedback only. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. Description: The 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS), formerly known as the Theater Air Command and Control Simulation Facility, Kirtland AFB, NM is seeking small business feedback concerning its technical support requirements for the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC). A Source Sought Synopsis for "TSC-DMOC: Technical Support Contract" was posted on 14 October 2009 by Air Force Research Lab/ Detachment 8 for this same effort. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center has now become the acquisition office for TSC market research information. Background: As a result of Statement of Capability responses received on 30 Oct 2009 in regards to Sources Sought Synopsis-"TSC-DMOC: Technical Support Contract," the Government would appreciate feedback on the following questions: (1) Interested parties should provide information on whether they would be interested in this effort if the period of performance was for a two year period. Please include the pros and cons, or impacts to industry, for a two year period of performance as opposed to a five year period of performance. (2) The original capability was performed under NAICS 541712. Should you have concerns with this NAICS code provide an alternative NAICS with an explanation as to why your alternative is deemed more appropriate for this requirement. (3) Interested parties should provide a listing of their General Supply Schedules that would be within scope of this requirement. In addition, provide information regarding any minimum or maximum ordering quantities and expiration date. The Government appreciates feedback from all interested parties. Electronic responses are preferred. Please respond no later than 3 p.m. (MST) on 22 December 2009. This is not a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any costs incurred as a result of this announcement shall be borne by the offeror and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Potential offerors should refer contracting concerns to the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center Contract Specialist, Cassandra L. Caputo at (505) 846-7812.
