- United States Government Seeks Sources for Leased Office and Related Space Kansas City, Metro Area Requirement: The General Services Administration is seeking to lease quality office and related space consisting of approximately 40,578 rentable square feet of space. Rentable space must yield a minimum of 35,285 BOMA Office Area square feet. All space must be contiguous on one floor. The configuration of the space shall provide an efficient utilization of space. Available affordable parking for 250 employees shall be located within two (2) blocks. Public transportation shall be accessible within a walkable ½ mile. Location: Offered properties must be located within the following delineated area. North: I-435, Highway-291 East: Highway 291 South: Highway 150, 135th Street West: I-35, I-435 Occupancy: Space must be ready for occupancy by May 2, 2011. Lease Term: The proposed rental term shall be 10 years, five years firm. This office space will house a Government Call Center type operation requiring two (2) shifts during the hours from 8:00 am to 10:30 pm, M - F and possibly some weekend hours. Tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space must be altered to meet the Federal Government's requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility.
