- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk Office, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm Fixed-Price contract with Rockwell Collins Aerospace & Electronics Inc for subscription to Satellite Network Television programming with AS4000 7 Pack and Tailwind Program 500, which will be required by the Naval Air Facility, Andrews AFB, MD. The subscription will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The acquisition of the subscription is in direct support of operating several aircraft. The subscription will have full compatibility with Rockwell Collins Aerospace & Electronics Inc existing hardware and programs to provide direct support in operating and navigating aircraft. The required period of performance is 01 January 2009 to 31 December 2010. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 334511. A request for a complete proposal package will be available for download on or about 14 December 2009 at the following websites: http://www.neco.navy.mil, www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above cites. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-999-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on NECO to submit your proposal.
