- RECOVERY - This procurement is being funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The recipient of this award and their first tier subcontractors will be subject to reporting requiements under Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act. For more information, go to www.recovery.gov and www.federalreporting.gov The dates included in this announcement are approximate and may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Actual dates will be established at the time the bid documents are made available. The work to be performed under these specifications includes the following: 1) Cofferdam installation and dewatering; 2) furnish and install 48" diameter manhole irrigation intake structure; 3) furnish and install 12" precast concrete intake pipe; 4) furnish and install 72" diameter manhole pump wet well; 5) furnish, install and test irrigation pump; 6) furnish and install 12' x 18' precast concrete building; 7) furnish and install PVC pressure pipe and all appurtenant parts fittings; 8) connect to existing irrigation water lines; 9) cap and disinfect existing potable water lines; 10) test irrigation system and controls. The work is located at the Fort Smith Government Camp, 41 miles south of Hardin, Montana in Big Horn County. The solicitation will be available for viewing at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after December 28, 2009. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for January 28, 2010 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $250,000 to $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237990. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online.
