- IFB N40085-10-B-7009 Contact Point: Contract Specialist, Nancy Van Gelder,(401) 841-3407; email: nancy.vangelder@navy.mil Title: Repair Balconies at CBQ Bldgs 1312, 1313 and 1314, Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI 02841 This contract action is for the following: Removal of balcony and terrace decking components and the provision of decking components and related work, at Bldgs 1312, 1313 and 1314, Naval Station Newport, Newport, RI, as indicated in the solicitation package and solicitation drawings. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exists on prior contracts. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238160 with Small Business size standard of $14.0 Million in annual receipts. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement shall be Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The method of procurement shall be Sealed Bidding. The Government will only accept offers from SDVOSB concerns. Clause 52.225-9, Buy American Act - Construction Materials (FEB 2009) shall apply. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation (on approximately 01/15/2010) at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. The Solicitation shall be available on or about 15 January 2010. Bids will be due on or about 15 February 2010. Information regarding Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit shall be provided in the solicitation package. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of 20% of the amount for DBA work.
