- Solicitation Number: H92222-08-D-0017 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to modify an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with iGov Technologies, 8200 Greensboro Dr., Suite 200, McLean, VA 22102 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(A). This action is necessary to allow the program to continue on-going operations while a follow-on Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) contract is competed. Pursuant to the aforementioned authority, USSOCOM will increase the current TACLAN contract ceiling by $150M to maintain current services and hardware ordering and delivery requirements as acquisition planning and source selection for the follow-on TACLAN contract is conducted. Award for the follow-on contract is projected on or about March 2011. In February 2010, another notice will be issued regarding an Industry Day for the follow-on TACLAN contract. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however interested parties may identify their interests and capability by responding to this requirement by 4:00 PM, EST, January 25, 2010 by e-mail to douglas.pick.ctr@socom.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the additional requirements based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For specific questions, please contact Douglas L.
