- RFQ N10PS18148 PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY, AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions of Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items are supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. Solicitation Number N10PS18148 applies; the solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The US Department of the Interior, through its Franchise Fund activity Acquisition Services Directorate, will manage this procurement action on behalf of the US Department of Agriculture. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Business size will be verified using CCR. PSC Code: R409NAICS Code: 524298Service Code Classification: B The resultant contract will be Firm Fixed Price. AQD is issuing this competitive RFQ to solicit contractors for the feasibility research report for insuring commercial poultry production. The objective of this solicitation is to obtain analysis, determine the feasibility and issues related to insuring commercial poultry production. The contractor shall produce a research report that determines the feasibility of developing an insurance program for commercial poultry production and recommends the most viable type of insurance program, if any are feasible. The RFQ Due date (closing date) is on or before 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
